TeleDNA announces
successful completion of MMSC trial with BPL

26 - TeleDNA has announced successful completion
of MMSC trial with BPL Mobile. The TeleDNA MMSC
provides subscribers with MMS capable mobile
phones or PDAs, the ability to send and receive
images, audio clips, and graphics besides text.
Legacy SMS users receive an SMS notification
advising them of the URL where they can view
MMS messages sent to them.
The suite of TeleDNA’s
MMS solutions deployed for the trial include
the MMSC, AAA Server and MMS Portal through
which MMS subscribers can manage and send their
multimedia messages. TeleDNA provides a complete
solution including MMS applications like greeting
card store, personal photo albums and beauty
contest white board. TeleDNA’s MMS solution
also includes a MMS Client for PocketPC enabled
PDAs or Smart Phones.
The TeleDNA MMSC is a high
performance, highly available, scalable and
reliable server, which provides the next generation
of multimedia messaging service. TeleDNA’s
solution provides mobile to email, email to
mobile, mobile to mobile and portal to mobile
multimedia messaging services. The MMSC also
acts as a gateway to the existing short message
centers (SMSC). The TeleDNA MMSC can be seamlessly
integrated into the existing CSD, CDMA-1xRTT
and GPRS networks. The solution is compliant
with WAP 2.0 and 3gpp standards.
